Just to clarify Specialist, the Japanese cars were actually made in England and transported. I feel the way you said it, it sounded like they are of Japanese manufacter. I am not worried about Werewolf. I have plenty of customers that purchase from me and I dont honestly pay attention to him. He is a skunk farmer from the south who doesnt know much about anything. Just a loud mouth. If you need any assistance feel free to contact me. These "Licensed" guys are just mad that the selling market isnt exclusive to them and yet they are the ones who say it is impossible to import MINIs currently. lol

correct me if i'm wrong, but i think it's a lot cheaper to buy from an un-license individual, like for example here in the US, when you need a plumber, electrician, gardener, mechanic, wedding planner, mason, and all other blue collar jobs we want to contact a non licenced worker because it's cheaper than the Licensed and Bonded workers, and it gets the job done just the same. heck!
And also i like japanese minis,ALL parts are genuine, non of those el cheapo chinese parts. never leaks oil, and in automotive world if it's made in Japan, it's gotta be the best. Unlike in Germany, they manufactured the Volkswagen Beetle that doesnt have a radiator, and who the H would make a car without a radiator???oil cooler is not enough, unless if they really make the oil cold with the use of refrigerant., but no, it was just a simple oil cooler, dependent on wind, thats why if the volkswagen is in idle, it overheats. i'd take a car that has radiator with no drain plug than no radiator at all...

Basically, you need a Broker you can trust, and the guy I've used for the last 9 years is honest, transparent and knowledgable. He gives access to ALL the large Auctions throughout Japan. You are free to scroll through every marque of vehicle, even motorcycles.
You see the car with the Auctions assessment of condition, even down to depth of tread on the tyres.
Personally I NEVER buy from the North Island of Hokkaido, as their climate is similar to the UK, or Northern States in winter. They even use salt on their roads. I've bought 2 cars from there, one was a Subaru RA which was ok, but the other was a RED 35th Anniversary Cooper which was a rotbox. My agent is based in Osaka, and lives in Kobe, so I try to buy in that area, as it keeps down transport costs, and he can personally view the cars. Jim
