If you can't post photos, use the SEARCH feature to find the master cylinder and post the part number.

Yes, that is the Lockheed one that is referenced on the interweb, at various locations, as both the clutch and the brake master cylinder. The other one simply has DELCO stamped on it and the reservoir is completely round, with no ridges.

I received two new master cylinders with the car I bought. One is marked with Lockheed LB37HJ010A on the resevoir. A search indicates this is used either for the brakes or clutch master cylinder. It has a ridged rectangular reservoir with the steel insert on the side of the actual cylinder. The other cylinder is simply stamped DELCO on the body of the cylinder. There are no other markings or numbers. This one has a round reservoir. Both master cylinders fit either mounting boss.
Can anyone shed light as to the bores and whether it matters which is used in what system?
Thanks,
