I put those in my 68 AWD project. A little snug but they fit and feel great.

How about a set of Kirkey Vintage Racing low back seats? I've always wanted to have those in a racy Mini, and may eventually replace the Corbeau high back seats with some of those in my current car.

Howard

I guess it was when I was vending with Nick in S. Carolina and some mini enthusiasts thought it would be a good idea to smash our tables. pretty much sour'd my taste for attending these events again.

Mike .... Not knowing when you need to make this decision, I'd like to suggest that you attend MME three weeks from now. There you'd be able to see and sit in a wide variety of seats first hand. Besides, how long has it been since we've seen your smiling face?

nice seats John.  I guess that's the going rate for the new replacements.

I've got seats in vinyl that look like your mini seats with the headrests. Any idea what they are called? What year car they came from.

Maybe I can order new skins.

I got a set of Procar Rally Seats for a customer and installed them in his Mini Special. I just bought a 2nd set for my 61 Morris Minor I liked them so much. The main reason I like these are the height, I have had 2 sets of Corbeau GTS 2 seats and these are a lot shorter, and fit the mini more proportionally. I did have to modify the mounting brackets, but it was straight forward. I bought the Mini corbeau seat brackets, then just welded flat bar across for the additional width of the mounting holes. I will say though, if you are over a size 32 waist, you would probably want to go for there "wide" version which has the same overall dimensions I believe, but probably have a thinner bolster. These have very heavy bolster.

+1 on Miata. Super easy to install. New covers are cheap on ebay.

Mazda Miata/MX5 seats have been a popular swap.

I"m selling my car, the buyer wants black.  Rear seat is black vinyl. Looking to match the black by painting or

just locating a set of black seats. I'm looking on line and there are plenty of seats for sale, but width and height

are an issue. One needs to access the handbrake, and close the door without crushing the door bin, and allow

access to the rear.

I have a set of Recaro knockoffs for sale on this site [//www.minimania.com/cars4sale/14386/0_Any]  I never installed them, but I put them in place and they seemed to be a good fit. Not sure if the backs are higher than your Acura seats. I'll measure the height if you're interested.

I had put Acura seats in the front of a mini a year ago, but that car is sold.

Any recommendations for seats that might not be as tall as the Acura?

Looking for vinyl which will end up black if they're another color.

The acura seat pan did not lend itself to an easy fit, I spend numerous hours fabricating a frame to mount on
the mini brackets.

Very comfortable, and I never got into the back seat, but I don't think they gave great access.

Anyone used something that worked well?
