Nevertheless, with 60 pics supplied one gets a pretty good idea of the condition

Vin plate looks wonky, external lifting jack is just plain scary

Love the paint

Shows now as a Morris Mini Traveler. Got the Mini part right, but didn't spell Traveller right.

There's a '62 on BAT right now. The weird thing is, it's listed as a Austin Morris Minor; no mention that's it's a Mini although it's badged on the rear door a a Mini Minor. Very confusing.  [//bringatrailer.com/listing/1962-morris-morris-minor-traveler/].

I sold a very nice austin countryman to blues legend Delbert McClinton in 2002.. he kept it for 10 years and then I bought back from him because he did NOT want his daughter . to drive it every day..  then I sold to russian in the Bahamas..  was as GOOD AS IT GETS.. as the countryman had lived in gaffney sc in garage it whole life..  was only about $11k. then. and still about same for market money now.. later bc

Thanks guys were right Spitz I would want a more sturdy roof rack. I am thinking about carrying one or two kayaks. Or a bike or two.

another mini selling off the provenance of the MK 1 S's. Every mini seems to have jumped up in price. This wagon has been for sale for a long time and 44 is the asking price. Maybe some celeb will buy it.

Sorry…not sure.
I've had a couple of them. I think they were a common accessory installed by dealers hear in CA on saloon MINIs.

I wouldn't trust too much weight on them though….Just held in my 2 metal screws at each corner….unless you remove the headliner and bolt em in

Right you are Rick, the petrol caps for the early internal tank models are hard to find

In fact this Estate woody had no cap when l bought it and it had water in the petrol and we had a tough time getting it sorted out

But thanks to a couple of friends on this forum they came up with new gas caps

The paint looks real good, probably had a respray after l sold it

It is after all, the highly sought after interior tank model of 1961 fame. Still, it's pretty far up there in the price! Thanks for chiming in Big AL. That was a very interesting story. As hard as it is to find a gas cap for one of these, the cap may as well be made out of gold.
