Gingerman is a fun track. I rode it on my ducati monster. I would help you out but the M3 is in the shop. Sorry

Naw, I'm not going to race it. It's just to get me to and from the track.

I appreciate the offer via Detroit. Unfortunately, I already booked my flight through O'Hare. Detroit was the first choice, but Chicago was over $100 cheaper.

It was just a shot in the dark. I'm going to Gingerman Raceway, so will be driving through Gary and will be close to Kalamazoo. I've been eyeballing this car there. Hoping to talk with the seller and find out what it would take to make it quasi-drivable.

Spank doesn't need any turn signals for racing Norm.
"Pristine condition not necessary. Hoopty is fine" I can see it now your car on the internet running around the track racing a Lemons race. LOL.

Just kidding.....

If in doubt, flat out . Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

if you fly to Detroit I've got one you can drive, but we've got to fix the turn signal stalk first.

it is an A+ mini

I know this is a reach... I'm flying into Chicago O'hare in a week and will need to drive to Gingerman Raceway in MI (151 miles each way).

rental cars are super cheap it looks like. But they have no character.

If anyone would entertain the thought of renting me an interesting vehicle, I'd happily reciprocate should you want to come to San Diego. Heck, I'd even consider letting you use a classic mini to go to MMW. I even have a tiny guest flat I can put you up in for a few days.

Just a thought. Pristine condition not necessary. Hoopty is fine. Doesn't need to be a mini.

In fact, if anyone knows this guy and can help arrange a rental, I'd be super interested.
