well.. like any classic car purchase.. like a classic mini or moke.. you need SIGHT inspection in PERSON.. to check the title work. vin numbers and condition of the car.. and NEVER listen to the arm chair expert.. later bc ps DIDO what malsal said about the resell of chokes.. NEVER going to be as high as OZ or Cagivi moke.s and UK mokes will always bring the most dinero..

The first generation ones were the worst but they have got better, with that being said i know nothing of the newer ones with the non Mini power plant. There were a few built up from shells with all regular Mini parts on them which eliminated any of the Chinese problems.
The biggest issues with some has been the electrics and rear brakes both easily remedied by installing the tried and tested Mini parts.
The shells seem to wear well but the paint is thin. The tops always seem to be loose.
They will never have the big resale value of a real Moke but if you want a rust free Aussie Moke copy for less than a regular one they are a decent option.

Anyone here (not BC) have an opinion on Chokes? Ok Bill I know you can't resist, how great are the chokes?
I would be interested in talking to someone who actually owns one.
