Depends on which ones your talking about the QH5000 type as in the video are a straight swap for the rubber type and a good upgrade. Not sure about the repro ones that are about havn't used any, I still have a couple of sets of genuine QH in stock. If your refering too the Hardy spicer type joint as in the Coopers then as CupCake said you are going to have to change the diff outputs side covers and drive shafts to fit them. A quick not is that these joints are very harsh on the drive train as they have no give in them all the forces are taken straight by the transmission so drive properly!

If you are using yoke type couplings the metal ones with the needle bearings are a direct replacement for he rubber type, much easier to remove/install. If you can find an old set (swap meet/etc.) the U-joint is available from AutoZone and you just need the 8 end caps either in nylon or metal.

I'm reasonably sure that everything is different, flanges. drive shaft, cv joints and hubs.

Replaceing the u-joints in my MK1 mini,what are your views on the all rubber joints,as original versa the steel ones with the needle bearings?
